We are pleased that you are interested in the Master's program in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Bayreuth! You can enroll for the winter semester or the summer semester.

A requirement for admission to the program is a first degree in engineering (Bachelor of Science) from a university in Germany or abroad. Qualified graduates from universities of applied sciences or other higher education institutions are also welcome.

For admission, please contact the chairperson of the examination board, Professor Dr. Ruth Freitag. Additionally, you can inform yourself on the website for prospective students of the Faculty of Engineering. We recommend that you have a detailed consultation with the student advisor before enrolling.

The deadlines for enrollment for the winter and summer semesters are announced well in advance on the University of Bayreuth homepage.
